In 1995, Tony Ward became friends with a French couple in the neighborhood where he lived in Philadelphia. The young lovers inspired him to produce a series of photographs of them making love. The passion they exhibited for each other whenever the photographer was in their presence was indeed inspiring. They invited him to Paris to photograph them during their most intimate moments once they arrived home from their trip abroad. After the shoot was produced in Paris, Ward began to cast couples in the U.S and abroad for his various books, exhibitions and contributions for magazines around the world.
